"When is Enough, Enough"

Equality for all races cannot be accomplish until with address discrimination and racism head on. Hard working men and women have been denied job opportunities because they don’t have a certain appearance. There have been situations were people were denied housing because they were not white and privilege. Real estate in black communities never sell for the same profit as white communities. Another problem in American society that makes it hard for other ethnic groups to obtain money and success. If you can’t find a job that allows you to save money for your next generation it is going to be hard to manage your debt and resources. The significance of racial categories and racism in the United States is the way it determines your future before you have an opportunity to establish yourself. Racism is a key factor in how people determine your race and ethnicity. It is hard to move forward in life when there are individual who are racists and have discriminatory ideologies. Institutional racism often denies certain groups rights or benefits and preferential treatment. There are some governments that practice institutional racism and deny individuals certain job employment and voting rights. Before the Civil Rights movement there was racial segregation within the school systems that denied African Americans the opportunity to achieve and higher education. By denying education and job opportunities to individuals based on their color it has affected society tremendously economically.
